Yesterday I wanted to aspire my peers at the Peterson Academy to join me in search of God. Today I realized that this is an endeavour better performed in solitude. Taking the time to wrap up my own thoughts in the words that best fit them. So, here I am slightly exhausted from work and driving, sitting in front of the monitor, and doing the one and only thing that can charge up my whole being—reflecting. I’m reflecting on the nature of existence and the profound question of whether God exists, I find myself drawn to a deeper contemplation of the very fabric of reality. I am not doing it to force people into believing, nor for any accreditation. My goal is the joy I experience, every time when I meditate on the intertwined layers of natural law, intelligence, and the mysterious energy that permeates all things. It is a reflection that, while rooted in knowledge, also seeks to touch the essence of what we often feel but cannot easily define.

When I look at the world around, I am immediately struck by the unchanging and universal laws that govern everything—gravity, the passage of time, the cycles of life and death. These laws are as ancient as the stars themselves, and yet, they remain as relevant to the blossoming of a flower as to the orbit of a distant planet. They do not waver; they do not falter. They are the silent, ever-present blueprints that give structure to reality. It is through these laws that people began to comprehend the predictable rhythm of the universe, a rhythm that humans, have learned to dance to, albeit clumsily at times.

But can people ever step outside these laws? My imagination immediately pictures a world where gravity could be reversed at will, where the flow of time could be paused or rewound. This isn’t the stuff of mere fantasy—the mind can conceive of such possibilities, even though they remain beyond the physical reach. Avoiding or even manipulating the laws of nature is, undoubtedly impossible. Or is it? Aren’t people already able to do all the above in computer simulation, where they can simply turn off gravity or reverse the direction of the buoyant force. In such a simulation a rock thrown into a lake might jump backwards, and even be launched into deep space. And then again reality strikes back—there’s no way to outsmart nature, unless it is in a controlled simulation of it. Control, imagination, ability to adapt and apply. Isn’t that intelligence itself? It is the intelligence that allows people to observe these natural laws and, more remarkably, to use them to their benefit.

At the heart of everything lies energy. It is the pulse of the cosmos, the unseen force that binds the universe together. Einstein’s equation, E=mc², elegantly expresses the unity of energy and matter, reminding us that everything we see, everything we are, is, at its core, energy. As a matter of fact, in his first paper on energy and mass, Einstein had written m=L/c^2, which implies his understanding that the mass is a function of energy. And this energy is not static; it is dynamic, constantly transforming, shaping the universe in ways we are only beginning to understand. The discovery of the Higgs boson, and the Higgs field, for instance, revealed how energy was commanded to give mass to particles, underpinning the structure of the universe in a way that seems almost miraculous. My heart races, my thoughts are jumping one over the other, but I will not take the shortcut. As it was sung in a song, it’s about the journey, not the destination!

I smile, while trying to remember my last thoughts on energy... It is more than just the building block of the universe. It is a carrier of information, a repository of knowledge. Just as DNA encodes the instructions for life, or electricity alters the memory chips in the flash drive, energy encodes the information that shapes the cosmos. Wait! If energy holds within itself the blueprints of existence, doesn’t that mean that the universe is not random or chaotic, but purposeful and intelligent. In that manner, this leads to the conclusion that energy itself is a form of intelligence, or is it guided by an intelligence greater than people can fathom?

One of the most intriguing aspects of energy is its eternal nature. While everything around seems finite, having its own beginning and end—the human lives, the stars, even the universe itself—energy remains unbounded. It cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed. This timelessness stands in stark contrast to the transient nature of everything else, hinting that energy being the only exception to the finite law, might be evidence that either the energy itself was artificially added as the single record in the list of exceptions; or that the law that dooms everything to an end, was artificially introduced in the universe. A quote of the bible swiftly popped up in my mind “And from the tree of knowledge of good and of evil you shall not eat from it, because in the day that you will eat from it, you will die the death.” (Genesis 2-17). And here I stand at a crucial point. In a universe that is slowly crawling towards its final moments, just like a student at PA is crawling the humongous wall of the feed to find a Post of Interest, energy is the one and only symbol of eternity. This thought opens the door to the possibility that our world, governed by its natural laws, is controlled environment and its very foundation is governed by a higher intelligence—an intelligence that some might call God.

This turns out to be the rabbit hole to which my love for the truth has led me! I’m as eager as a little boy at the entrance of the world’s most famous amusement park! What else do I know about energy? People possess the unique ability to interact with energy in ways that other forms of life cannot. At least the ones we are aware of. We bend energy to our will, creating electricity, harnessing nuclear power, sending signals across the globe in an instant. This ability to manipulate energy reflects the will that drives us, a will that seems to echo the creative force that might have brought the universe into being. It is this will, this spark of divine intelligence, that sets us apart and connects us to something far greater than ourselves. I wasn’t expecting that at all, but here’s another quote from the Bible: “And God created Adam in his image” (Genesis 1-27). Perhaps this means more than a mere physical likeness. Perhaps it refers to the ability to shape reality through will, to participate in the ongoing creation of the universe. It is through this lens that I can now see my thoughts, my desires, and actions as not just human endeavours, but as manifestations of a divine will that courses through every single human being, guiding us toward people towards their destiny.

Is that the full circle? What started as an exploration of energy as the eternal carrier of knowledge, I came to see the fingerprints of a higher power—what many refer to as God or a Creator. And to the fingerprint metaphor one step further: the two exclamation marks, which I doodled at moment of trying to catch up with my muses, might see the sweaty line as the fingerprint of their own creator, albeit unable to see and comprehend the curves and ridges that might identify me among the billions of people out there. The way energy defies the finite nature of the Universe, persisting and transforming endlessly, suggest to me that the reality is governed by a higher intelligence. This intelligence, which shapes and sustains the universe, seems to resonate in humankind’s capacity to manipulate energy through will.

The factual existence of the Higgs boson and the quantum field, which reveal how energy gives form to matter, further deepens my conviction. It’s as if the moment of their discovery marks a significant turning point for humanity, a shift from separation and destruction to unity and creation—the natural flow of Yin and Yang. For me, the existence of God is not longer just a matter of belief; it’s a logical conclusion drawn from the very principles that govern our reality. This understanding has profoundly reshaped my view of humanity’s place within the vast and interconnected cosmos. And as I calmly finish those lines, happily surrendering myself to the tiredness of my body, a surreal picture pops up. Thousands of years from now, when people have long left Earth, sitting on a bench in a neon-lit cyberpark an AI-powered android tells another: “Many years ago, the Creators made Andro in their own image...”

This is the best thing that I have ever read in my entire life. I really needed such an amazing type of realism in this time of my living time. Thank you very much.
